Agriculture Education
The mission of Agricultural Science and Technology Education is to prepare students for employment and/or continuing education opportunities in agriculture.
This is accomplished through technical instruction in the classroom, experiential education in the laboratory and through the “Supervised Agricultural Experience Program”, and leadership and personal development through the FFA.

Not all courses are offered at all high schools
Floral Design- Grades 9-11
Prepares individuals to produce, process, and market plants used principally for ornamental, recreational, and aesthetic purposes and to establish, maintain, and manage horticulture enterprises such as floriculture, greenhouse operation and management.
Advanced Floral Design- Grades 10-12
Prerequisite: Floral Design
This class involves practical applications in the area of retail floriculture. Instruction includes hands-on activities involving advanced design elements and marketing of floral products. Students will learn to develop marketable skills and attitudes.
