Special Education is undergoing a dramatic demographic shift in teacher staffing and training nationwide. Many of our experienced teachers are nearing retirement and the void is being filled with talented young educators who have only recently entered the profession. This has generated a leadership challenge to create a support structure that will enable current and future generations of special educators to become as highly skilled, competent, and experienced as those who have paved the way before them!
The information, forms, diagrams and materials you will find here are designed to help meet this challenge and to provide you with the tools you need to expertly understand and perform in your assignments.
Our theme for the 2011-2012 school year is: "What you Focus on you Achieve". Although we are focused on many things, first and most important is daily meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities receiving specialized instruction and related services in each of the schools in our community. Our focus and commitment is to assist you with the support necessary to achieve remarkable outcomes with each student you serve.
