Edgemont Construction Details
Venerable Edgemont Elementary is more than fifty years old, and was in need of physical improve-ments, particularly the old, inefficient, and unsightly classroom windows that lined the exterior of the building. Approval of a Bond and leeway in June 2006 provided funds that enabled the windows to be replaced with clear, double-paned, low energy-loss units that are slightly smaller but vastly more efficient than the older windows. In addition, new soffit and facia on the eaves above the windows was provided, enhancing the overall appearance of the building with an integrated, modern look.
