Provo Early Education Program (PEEP)
The Provo Early Education Program provides education and therapeutic programs for infants and toddlers less than three years of age within the Provo School District who have developmental delays or who may develop delays because of an existing medical condition.

Does My Child Need Intervention
If you suspect that your child might be having difficulty in a certain area of development, you can contact PEEP for a NO COST screening evaluation. Qualified personnel will speak with you, assess your child's developmental skills, and make recommendations. If it is determined that your child qualifies for program service, you and the program therapists will design an Individual Family Service Plan that will specify the services your child will receive.

Here are some typical skills your child should have and when (s)he should have them.
- 10 WEEKS Startle to sound - Can hold up their head - Will look at objects
- 6 MONTHS Reach for objects - Turn their heads towards sounds - Roll over
- 9 MONTHS Continue to babble - Sit alone
- 1 YEAR Take their first steps - Respond to their own name
- 18 MONTHS Walk alone - Build a tower of three blocks - Say three words besides Mama and Dad
- 2 YEARS Use words to communicate
- A LAS 10 SEMANAS Se sobresaltan con los sonidos - Levantan y sostienen la cabeza - Miran a los objectos
- A LOS 6 MESES Tratan de alcanzar objetos - Dan vuelta sus cabezas hacia los sonidos - Se dan vuelta

Does my child qualify for PEEP?
You may be wondering if your child is experiencing a developmental delay for various reasons. Does your child have a medical condition that may contribute to a developmental delay? Are you just unsure if your child needs early intervention to prevent delays later on in life? Any child qualifies for program service if (s)he is experiencing significant delay in one or more areas of development, including:
